It's been a busy month. Here's what shipped.

Looped Inventory

Inventory is our newest app. Keep a list of items, record stock movements and run stock takes. Pick items on invoice and bill lines, and stock goes in and out on its own. The books stay in step: every movement posts to Financials, so your stock value on the balance sheet matches what's on the shelf.

Receipts

Snap a photo, pick one from your gallery or upload a file. Looped reads the receipt, posts it and matches it to the bank line when your statement comes in. It flags likely duplicates, and you can move a document between receipts and bills if it landed in the wrong place.

A Capture receipt quick action is now on the dashboard by default. You can choose your own quick actions per company.

Credit notes, refunds and statements

Invoices now does credit notes, by amount or by line, and refunds that post straight to the books. You can also send a client an account statement showing every invoice, payment and credit.

Draft invoices

Save an invoice as a draft and issue it later. Assistants now draft by default, so nothing goes to a client until you've looked at it.

Bookkeepers and accountants

If you look after other companies' books, you can now manage them from your own company. Open a client's company through your practice, without a separate login for each. Pricing for managed companies goes down per company as you add more. See pricing for bookkeepers.

Looped in ChatGPT and Claude

Looped has an MCP server. Add it to ChatGPT or Claude and you can log time, draft invoices, capture receipts and pull reports from a conversation. Plugins for both are on the way. Until then, here's how to connect it yourself.

Smaller things

  • Sortable columns across the apps, and search on the Financials reports page.
  • Operational reports with paged tables, and interim financial statements for any period in the year.
  • Faster bank statement review: shift-click to select a range, ⌘⏎ to approve, and filters for AI confidence.
  • Dated billing rates in Track, so a rate change applies from the right day.
  • SWIFT/BIC on company bank accounts, and a default account per company.
  • Edit your VAT number and bank details straight from an invoice.
  • Every Looped email now uses one consistent layout.

What's next

We're finishing the ChatGPT and Claude plugins, and working through feedback on Inventory. If something gets in your way, email hello@looped.sh. We read everything.
